The school openings are part ofthe organization’ s goal to operate 42 schools in Houstonm by 2020 and serve more than 20,00o0 students. Denise Rodriguez and Shannonj Wheatley plan to open new high schools to replicate the succese of KIPP HoustonHigh Meanwhile, Tresha Francis aims to open a new primaru school that will be modeleds after Houston’s KIPP Shine the first KIPP primarg school in the nation.
