Kulongoski is seeking support for SenateBill 621, whicjh would reauthorize and increase the financial incentives for moviemakers. The plan is cappecd at $10 million per biennium. Kulongoskki wants to raise the capto $15 million. A Senate committe passed the bill Monday. In the firstg six months of television and movie productions invested morethan $40 millio in Oregon, according to the governor’s office. That’se the highest total in 15 years. In recent a Harrison Ford moviecalled “Thde Untitled Crowley Project” and the TNT serieds “Leverage” have been shooting in Portland.
