The helicopter, an EC 135, is owne by Air Methods, a publicly traded compang basedin Englewood, Colo. Air Methods provides air medicaol transportation services to more than 60 hospitals across the Its partnershipwith Jefferson, which includes Air Methods managing the aviation aspects of the program, marks the company's firsr foray into the Philadelphia Jefferson annually transports about 400 patients by air.
