O'Connell takes production to ECC North - Business First of Buffalo:

The arts partnership brings the nonprofit theaterf companyto ’s North Campus as performinhg arts company in-residence, expanding arts opportunities for the community. O’Connelol & Co. will produce a full seaso of plays, musicals and special events on plus weekly performances of itsongoing show, Diva by A Celebration of Women! It is the first time ECC has hosted a theater company. Other colleges that have brought live theater to campuswinclude , home to the ; and , home to ; and , home to . In a preparedr release, theater company founderf MaryKate O’Connell called the move the most exciting eventg in its history.
“We are looking forward to reachinv new audiences at our new theatrw where we will produce an exciting variety of productions withprofessionakl actors, designers and directors,” she said. ECC students and stafrf will have the opportunity to audition for roleds and will also be able to workin production, design, docent and intern positions. Foundeed in 1995, the company was in residencre at itsown theatre, the Cabaret in the Squared in Snyder, until June 2008.
